DQS7 is here!

Look what arrived today!

I've been watching my mailbox for my DQS7 quilt to arrive, and today it paid off! Whoohoo! I got a fantastic package from Kelli, who made a mini version of a quilt we both have in our Flickr favorites. Check out what a great job she did!

The back is just as cute- and a great riff on all the polka dots!

The extras she added are awesome, too. She made a super cute card from the quilt's scraps, included a great Heather Ross fat quarter, and somehow read my mind about needing a tissue holder! I only realized that I needed one yesterday when I cleaned out my purse. Hers is way nicer than what I would have made, completed interfaced and with a red set-in snap. Nice! The cherry on top is the honey lip balm- I'm really particular about lip balm, and this is by far one of the nicest I have ever used! Plus, my lips smell like heaven. Kelli, if you ever go into business making lip balm, I will buy a lifetime supply!

I feel so lucky- BIG thanks to Kelli, you made DQS7 another fantastic round for me!

  3. Hi Alexis,

I tried to reply to your question about my quilt label but your e-mail was set to (no-reply) so I hope you don't mind me answering you on here.

I make them myself on my computer and then I print them onto inkjet fabric sheets. Send me an e-mail at tlcstitchesATqDOTcom and I will send you the file. Then you can just take my blog name out and put your own in. That way it is all set up and you won't have to figure out sizing.
