I've been making this for my 6 year old since February (yikes, she was 5 then!) I'm thinking it would be good to finish it in time to give it to her for Christmas. I have a great vintage flannel from DH's grandma for the back, and I'm currently fixated with binding it with the Denyse Schmidt Katie Jump Rope in green dotted flowers. If I can get some in time for Christmas.
